URBAN SCENES IN WATERCOLOR

Peg Sheridan workshop

This is a 1-day, Saturday workshop. LEVEL: Beginner to Intermediate

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 10am - 4pm (bring a bag lunch)

Cities are exciting, colorful and fun to paint. There are lights, architecture, people, vehicles, and lots of action. How do you paint something so complicated? How can you capture the character of a city you visited? How do you avoid getting caught up in all of the details? Let Peg show you some simple ways to approach a city watercolor that are fun and successful.

Join Peg as she gently teaches you techniques for painting buildings, people, vehicles, signs, etc. and then leads you through two paintings. You will learn how to simplify a city scene, how to choose a color palette for your painting, and how to plan for success. She will offer two step by step lessons, so you can learn how to tie it all together. She will also provide color worksheets and individual help. You will go home with two watercolors (you may have to put the finishing touches on at home). Learn why Peg is the most popular watercolor instructor in the region, and most of her classes sell out. Sign up with a friend, and have even more fun! Space in this class is limited, so don’t wait to sign up. A materials list will be provided, or you can order a beginner kit through Peg.

CLASS LIMIT: 10 students
